Battery solutions, producing
We design and build custom Li-ion and LiFePO₄ battery packs to match your device’s exact dimensions and requirements. Every pack is spot-welded, fitted with a suitable BMS and put through capacity and load testing. On request we finish packs in enclosures, heat-shrink or epoxy coating.
A battery pack built around your device
Off-the-shelf batteries rarely fit exactly: voltage, capacity, dimensions and connector are always a compromise. So we start a custom battery pack from your device — the voltage and current it needs, the runtime it should have and the space available. From that we choose the cells, the series and parallel layout and a suitable BMS.
How a pack is made
- Design and modelling: cell selection, wiring layout and placement.
- Spot welding: cells are joined by spot welding rather than soldering, so they are never overheated.
- BMS: a battery management system protects the pack and balances its cells.
- Testing: every pack goes through capacity and load testing before handover.
- Finishing: an enclosure, heat-shrink or epoxy coating to suit where it will be used.
Lithium-ion or LiFePO4?
Lithium-ion cells (such as 18650) pack a lot of energy into a small space and suit e-bikes, power tools and portable devices well. LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) is heavier but lasts more charge cycles and is thermally more stable — a good choice for campervans, boats and solar storage, for example. We help you pick the chemistry that fits your use.
Battery repair and refurbishment
An old battery does not always have to be thrown away. In an e-bike, e-scooter or power tool battery it is often only the cells that are worn out, while the casing and charger are fine. When refurbishing a battery we replace the worn cells with new ones, check or replace the BMS and test the battery before returning it. Before starting we assess the battery and tell you whether refurbishing it makes sense.
From a single pack to series production
We build single battery packs and prototypes as well as series. If you need a battery for a new product, we help from design to repeat production — the same cells, the same layout and the same testing in every pack.
Frequently asked questions
What do you need to know to quote a battery pack?
The voltage, the capacity or runtime you need, the maximum current, the space available for the battery, the connector type and the quantity. If you do not have all of it, a description of the device is enough to start — we work out the rest together.
Do you make single battery packs?
Yes. We build single packs and prototypes as well as series.
Is an old battery worth refurbishing?
Often, yes. If the casing and charger are fine and the problem is worn cells, replacing the cells can cost less than a new battery. We assess the battery before starting and tell you whether refurbishing it makes sense.
Which cells do you use?
Lithium-ion cells (such as 18650) and LiFePO4 cells. The choice depends on the voltage, current, capacity and space required.
